On A Personal Note. . .
With a little over three decades of experience as a professional photographer, I am still just as passionate about what I do now as I was when I first started! As you have surmised, I basically “cut my teeth” on film while learning the art of photography and believe me, it was a whole different ball game back then! However, that experience was invaluable because with film, I had to learn how to get the shot right the first time, in the camera, because there were no second chances as there are today with digital photography where you could just “spray and pray” until you got the right shot! I also learned the art of lighting and posing from some of the greatest photographers in the world at the time. The only thing that I didn’t care for with film was that it would take days to see the results. So when photography went digital, I was excited that I could use the skills that I had learned from the film days to create beautiful images instantly!! And even though I have all of those years of training, I am constantly and eagerly wanting to learn more!
I am a people person, who never meets a stranger and a romantic at heart! Which is why I have always loved photographing weddings! However, whether I am photographing a portrait, wedding or event, I put my heart and soul into each and every one of them because I care about my clients and I want to present them with the beautiful images that they deserve.
